Ever thought that you could do a better job than the man in the middle or his merry flagwavers? Well here’s your chance.
The RFL in conjunction with York and Selby Referee Societies are holding a Foundation Match Officials Course at New Earswick Sports Club on Saturday 25th February 2012 with a 9:30am start.
The course costs £25 (£12.50 for Under 18s) and on successful completion allows participants to referee in the local area upon joining the local society.
With the advent of Summer Rugby League at amateur level this season, there will be a huge increase in demand for officials, so here is your chance to play your part in supporting the game in the local area.
Anybody interested in becoming a Rugby League Match Official should contact Yorkshire Match Official Development Officer Steve Taylor at steve.taylor@rfl.uk.com or to apply for the course e-mail Jodie White at Jodie.white@rfl.uk.com
