| | Once July comes around and it is decided how many Super League clubs remain and whether or not Halifax are accepted,it will be interesting to find if the current on and off-field criteria remain. Should it be that one,or more clubs, come into the Championship then by time the next applications are submitted there may be a number of clubs suitably qualified. One club pushing for Super League are Sheffield Eagles |

| | Think once Supa Dupa League get the clubs they want the draw bridge will be raised, then it will be by invite only, clubs in the area that Sky want to sell satalite dishes will have the best chances of an invite. I'm of the opinion that no current clubs in Supa Dupa League will be asked to leave for a fear of a long and costly legal battle between the club and the RFL. Will just have to wait and see |

| | I seem to remember reading – and believing – that clubs had agreed NOT to resort to the courts when it came to Licensing.Just as I read, and believed, that in the key area of finance the Super League clubs agreed that a club going into administration would not lose their place. This was agreed just prior to Crusaders going into administration. If it does become a closed shop then there will be a lot of frustrated clubs in the future. Any club willing to go through the court nowadays will probably bankrupt themselves given the cost of litigation. It is certainly fortunate for Salford that they are already in Super League because if they were not then with the attendance they attracted last night and their limited turnover it is doubtful they would be accepted.( Nice that they can have a new stadium with 12,000 shiny seats, though.) |
