Matt Garside Biography

Matt Garside is one of the Knight’s flagship signings for the new 2011 Championship season, coming in from Gateshead Thunder. A centre or second row, he had the opportunity to sign for Huddersfield Giants in 2010 but chose Thunder to enable him to continue his studies at Northumbria University.

He was previously the RL Summer Conference Player of the Year while with Huddersfield Underbank in 2008, a prolific try scorer for GB Students and an England U18 international.
